ARISE O’ NIGERIA Humanitarian Ambassador Award
Arise O Nigeria Empowerment initiative Launched in 2016 in Nigeria, is saddled in its vision to mobilize
members to make the commitment to eradicate poverty, close the divide between
humanity, and build a more positive global society. In October 2016, Executives
from the UN women, New York, USA
launched the Inaugural empowerment conference through the
generous support from Top Nigerian dignitaries and Jodela Integrated Services
Ltd.
THE AMBASSADORS:
The Network of Global Humanitarian Ambassadors includes a
wide variety of people, such as diplomats, clergy, civic leaders, Artistes,
athletes, students, scholars, lawyers, health professionals, businessmen,
journalists, and current and former heads of state.
Arise O Nigeria is uniting leaders serving as catalysts of
social change, a Network of credible individuals who have strong passion for
humanity transforming local communities and championing the realization of the
sustainable development goals in Nigeria.
This honour is a recognition of commitment and a commission
to a higher duty and responsibility which recognizes past accomplishments,
potential to do more, and a partnership for global sustainable development.

The GLOBAL
HUMANITARIAN SDG AMBASSADORS seek to:
• Support the UN Agenda 2030 Declaration and
promote the localization of the SDGs at the individual, family and local
community levels.
• Encourage the
implementation of the sDGs across all traditional borders of religion,
political affiliation, social status, race, ethnicity, nationality, etc. As a
result, the program hopes to attain these two
core objectives:
1. Promote a culture of sustainable development, in which
people are born into a lifestyle of progress and potential.
2.Facilitate the development of local communities of leaders
that will continuously work towards the realization of the SDGs.

As part of our activities to engage our Ambassadors, we
organise events and programs to commemorate the UN International Day for
poverty eradication and other relevant days in the UN calendar such as the
International Women’s Day, World
Disability Day and many others.
REQUIREMENT
Potential GLOBAL HUMANITARIAN SDG AMBASSADORS must possess
the following qualities and skills,
• Be willing to contribute to the implementation of the
Sustainable Development Agenda 2030.
• Be passionate about tackling extreme poverty and promoting
the Sustainable Development Goals,
• Nomination by at minimum of 1000 people via email for
Ambassadorial honour
